CASE TEAM
What is case team?
The BCIT Marketing Association (BCITMA) Case Team is a group of ambitious students selected to represent BCIT in national and international case competitions. Each year, the team tackles real-world business challenges and presents strategic solutions to panels of executives, industry leaders, and academics.
Members sharpen skills in research, strategic planning, storytelling, and persuasive communication while working under pressure. Guided by faculty advisors and industry mentors, the team develops leadership, collaboration, and critical thinking. As one of BCITMA’s flagship initiatives, the Case Team connects classroom learning with practical application and prepares students to become future marketing leaders.
Our team members are known not just for their technical expertise but also for their ability to think creatively under pressure, collaborate effectively, and present with confidence.

Co-Case Lead
Hi, I’m Gurnoor! I’m from Squamish, and I started off with the Business Information Technology Management Diploma (Enterprise Systems Option). This January, I’m continuing my journey by pursuing my BBA in Marketing.
One of the highlights of my time at BCIT has been joining the BCITMA Case Team. Last year, I had the chance to present. This year, I’m excited to step into the role of Co-Case Lead. Working with such a passionate and creative group has pushed me to grow as a leader and strategist, and I’m looking forward to building on our tradition of success, including last year’s 3rd place finish at the AMA International Collegiate Case Competition.
Outside of case, I love the outdoors and doing creative hobbies!
