Have you heard a lot of buzz about a fantastic MarComm networking event that occurred only weeks ago? I’m sure you’ve only heard good things about Schmoozapalooza, and that’s because it was an absolute stand out this year thanks in part to the VP of Professional Development who has been instrumental in achieving this.
Lauren was able to not only juggle her normal (I mean crazy) BCIT workload, team projects, and life out of school, but she was entirely dedicated to bringing Schmooze to life these past couple of months. She has been an excellent leader for the hardworking committee and is always ready to handle the next hurdle thrown her way (when do sponsors not drop out?).
I haven’t gotten the chance to work with Lauren personally yet, but her peers speak so highly of her that I wish I had gotten the opportunity. To help you get to know Lauren and her position a little more, I have prepared a short interview with her. Please enjoy!
Questions will be bold, and answers will be italicized.
