The VP of Integrated Marketing, with the help of a Director, plans two major BCITMA events.

Marketing Week is a weeklong series from October 3rd to October 7th. It is filled with on-campus speaker events, an industry tour, and a networking event on Friday. This is an amazing series that allows students to develop their skills, learn the latest tips and trends in the marketing world, and meet industry professionals.

Regionals is large-scale business conference held at the BCIT’s downtown campus in January. This day is filled with impressive speakers, competitions, professional headshots and major networking. A first-year Regional Conference Lead position will join the Committee in October and assist planning and executing the 2017 Regionals. Both Marketing Week and the Regionals are widely recognized at the AMA International Collegiate Conference held in New Orleans.

    Regionals is a business conference held at the BCIT’s downtown campus in January. This day is filled with impressive speakers, competitions, and major networking. Both Marketing Week and the Regionals are widely recognized at the AMA International Collegiate Conference held in New Orleans.

  • Regional Conferences are held within only the top AMA Chapters. This conference will host students from multiple schools and will have high profile speakers, a sales competition, case competition and a networking component. Our goal is to get as many attendees as possible, including students from post-secondary schools all over the lower mainland. We also plan to host well-known, captivating speakers from many different jobs, backgrounds and industries.

    As the Regional Conference Lead, you will be working alongside Sarah Westwood (VP ofIntegrated Marketing) and Jalees Jaswal (Director of Integrated Marketing) in organizing BCITMA’s Regional Conference. You will gain experience in all aspects of the event including: advertising, promotions, social media, logistics, catering, speaker sourcing sponsorship and volunteer coordination.
